Description

A tasty schezwan dish is prepared by tossing chicken in a spicy, sour, fiery, and tongue-tingling schezwan sauce. Schezwan cuisine is also famous for its rich flavour, which is derived from the liberal use of garlic, red chillies, and other spices.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 kilogram Boneless chicken
  • 3 tablespoons Cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons All purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1.5 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Red chili sauce
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic
  • Green spring onion (1 stalk)
  • 3 Red chilies
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons Schzewan sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
Instructions
  1. Step 1
    • Take a bowl to marinate the chicken. Add chicken, cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, red chilli powder, garlic paste, soy sauce, red chilli sauce, beaten egg and mix everything well
    • Cover with cling paper and set aside for 10-15 minutes. Keep this for marination
    • Take a frying pan. Heat oil on medium flame and fry the chicken pieces. Fry until crisp and brown after that take them out and keep them aside
  2. Step 2
    • Take a frying pan. Heat oil then add chopped garlic, red chillies, green onions and half sesame seeds, saute them for a while
    • Add schezwan sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, salt and pepper powder and saute them for 30 seconds
    • Now, add cornflour slurry cook until it gets thickens
    •  Add fried chicken pieces and mix them
    • Dish it out and garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions
