- Heat the oil in a pot.
- Place the egg in one shallow bowl and the cornflour in another shallow bowl while the oil is heating. In a separate shallow bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper, garlic salt, and paprika.
- Dip the chicken in cornflour, then in the egg, and last in the seasoned flour.
