Description

Guava Cheese is a delicious Goan recipe that will leave you wanting more because of its delectable flavor. Guavas, lemon juice, water, salt, and sugar are used in this simple recipe. One of the advantages of cooking this delectable meal is that it only requires a few basic ingredients that are readily available in your kitchen.

This guava cheese has a texture similar to guava paste, sometimes known as guava bate, that I've seen in the US, but it doesn't taste the same. However, after doing some research online, I discovered that it is produced with the same components. I'm not sure why it still doesn't taste like the guava cheese I grew up with. Just a hunch, but I believe the flavor of guava varies.

When I saw small guavas at Walmart, the first thing that came to me was Guava cheese. I haven't had guavas in a long time. I just adore eating guava fruit with salt and red chili powder, and I'm sure you may empathize if you enjoy eating guavas in that manner.
