Description

Butter chicken is creamy, flavorful, and easily cooked within 33 minutes.

It is also known as chicken makhani. With a side of rice or naan, this dish is perfect!

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1 pound Chicken (boneless)
  • 4 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • Salt ((according to taste))
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black paper
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Yogurt
  • Naan or Rice (hot cooked (for serving))
  • 2 tablespoons Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Paparika (powder)
Instructions
  1. Step 1
    • First, take a pot over medium-high heat. Then add onions, butter, salt in the oil and cook until they are gently brown, about 3-4 minutes.
    • Now add ginger and garlic paste. Make sure it doesn't burn.

     

  2. Step 2
    • Add chicken, tomato paste, and other seasonings to the same pot. Cook for 5-6 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
    • In the end, add cream, mix it and turn off the stove.
    • Finally, sprinkle some coriander leaves and serve with naan or rice.
