What is Grapefruit? 

Grapefruit is a citrus fruit that comes in different flavors, like bittersweet or sour. It consists of vitamins and minerals that are necessary for good health. The fruit can be eaten whole, as a juice, or as pulp. The way this luscious fruit clusters on a tree branch gave it its name (like grapes). It is said to be a hybrid between a Pomelo and another citrus fruit, with its origins in the Caribbean in the early 1800s.
